About this Nominee
The PLFGCS Women’s Home provides safe, structured transitional housing for women seeking stability, healing, and a fresh start. Residents participate in a supportive, trauma‑informed environment designed to help them rebuild their lives with dignity and accountability. All participants are required to complete our 12‑week Empowerment Process, a mandatory workshop focused on emotional regulation, communication skills, financial literacy, and intentional living. The program combines housing, life‑skills development, and community support to help women move toward long‑term independence and sustainable success.
We also have a men's home in citrus heights.
