About this Nominee
Mission is to preserve, chronicle, educate and promote the history of Orangevale! In July 2023 we opened the Orangevale History Museum, with changing exhibits, to share with the community: Open hours are Tues, Thurs & Sat from 12pm-4pm, with free admission. We have a Research Team where many of our articles are printed regularly in the Orangevale View. Our Interview Team videotapes the older, long-time residents to capture their stories - please visit our YouTube channel. We have a growing Facebook and Instagram following. Jan. 25th, 2pm, we will have a dedication ceremony to place a plaque on one of the remaining first homes of the Orange Vale Colony, the Calder House (now Pathway Fellowship Church), at 8999 Greenback Lane.
