About this Nominee

Hello everyone! I wanted to start off by saying thank you. I'm very honored to have been nominated for this very prestigious title!

One of my favorite things to do is give back to my community in any way I can. Having a thriving and positive community is important and I feel the best that I can personally help to achieve this is by volunteering!

I am involved in a few OV community organizations such the OV Grange as a member/officer, Casa Roble FFA Boosters, Big Day of Service and am a OV chamber member.

Here are a few things I participate/participated in.
. Cooking in the kitchen every 2nd Sunday for breakfast at the Grange
. Dovewood Court to gather donations for the Grange's dictionary and scholarship programs for local schools
. Part of the Luau Committee whose funds help to benefit local farms and garden/projects for folks in need in OV
. Building of the bridge at the Grange to help those get better access to the garden
. Decorated the photo op. tractor for Pumpkin Palooza
. Lead 2 projects at Casa Roble High School for Big Day of Service. Fence painting at the farm and new sign installment and refresh landscaping in the Casa Ag. Dept.
. Community FFA events such as our Annual Spaghetti Western Dinner, set-up for Haunted Casa and the community BBQ
. Helped to make, deliver and pick up Valentine's Boxes for Seniors for HHOV
. I was even lucky enough to chaperone at the OTC High School Hoedown this year and had a blast!

It's important to me to help our OV community and I will continue in my endeavors to do so!
