About this Nominee
Our mission is to rescue dogs from euthanasia and transform their lives through advanced training in our Prison Dog Training Program. We empower veterans by offering them the opportunity to train their own dogs, equipping them with the skills needed for their dogs to become Emotional Support and Service Dogs. Through this process, we not only foster the human-animal bond but also aid veterans in achieving greater independence and emotional well-being.
In addition, we actively support veterans by providing essential resources at county Stand Downs, including free vaccines, dog supplies, and veterinary support for those limited on funds, ensuring their companion animals remain healthy and well-cared for.
By integrating comprehensive dog training, rescue, and direct support services for veterans, we strive to create a sustainable and impactful program that changes lives—both canine and human—while honoring the legacy of service and sacrifice.
