About this Nominee
I’m Jake Kurtz, and Orangevale is home.
I serve as a board member with the Orangevale Chamber and help with the planning and permitting for the Orangevale Farmers Market. On market days, you’ll usually find me helping wherever I’m needed—pouring beer, making announcements, or jumping in behind the scenes. I genuinely enjoy supporting events that bring our community together.
I also volunteer at my church, where I lead music and teach students. It’s one of my favorite ways to give back and stay connected.
My main work is in mortgage lending. I love helping people buy homes, understand the numbers, and feel confident about their mortgage decisions. Guiding someone through such a big milestone is work I’m proud of.
I’m grateful to live, work, and serve in Orangevale, and I enjoy being part of a community that shows up for each other.
