Sheri Shuteroff (Vargas)

Sheri is the owner/operator of Sheri’s Painted Goods. She is very involved in the Orangevale Community. As administrator for Orangevale Rocks, our local kindness rock group with a kindness rock garden at Pecan Park, you may have seen her at the Orangevale Farmer’s Market operating free kindness rock painting for children. They call her the “Rock Lady.” You may have seen some of her art around town, as she has donated her time to provide art work at The Orangevale-Fair Oaks Food Bank (the big rock) and a mural depicting our farming legacy on display at the former Orangevale Orchard on Filbert. In addition, Sheri has painted and updated some of the little libraries in our parks, particularly at the Orangevale Community Center, Orangevale Community Park and also, at Pecan Park. As part of that upgrade, Sheri started collecting children’s books in the Community and regularly upgrades the contents of the libraries with new books for everyone to read. Sheri loves Orangevale!

MARILYN EDWARDS

Marilyn worked tirelessly to help bring about the formation of a much-needed historical society for Orangevale – ORANGEVALE HISTORY PROJECT, newly established in 2022. She found speakers, put on meetings for exposure to the community, helped establish a social media presence, and strengthened her ties with community leaders to make this a possibility! After the election of officers, she remains involved as the Membership Coordinator. Marilyn is also a past president of the ORANGEVALE WOMAN’S CLUB, where she currently is working on bringing this Club’s historical documents up-to-date and organized. Marilyn constantly works to motivate others to be involved in our community, to help preserve Orangevale's rich history and appreciate this great Orangevale community. Vote for Marilyn!
